Eternal light is an everlasting light in the synagogue and the Catholic Church. It serves as a symbol to remember the constant presence of God. The eternal light is a lamp that burns continuously and indicates the location of the tabernacle in which the consecrated hosts are kept. In synagogues, the eternal light is in front of the Torah shrine.
Materiality & dimensions
The eternal light is made of brass and is gold-colored. The height of the lantern is 13 cm. The surface is smooth and fine patterns are incorporated into it. A dark blue glass insert is included in the scope of delivery.
